VTG 1978 TYCO HUSTLER 6101 Slot CAR RACING SET BATTERY OPERATED Complete RARE. This is the very rare Tyco Hustler battery operated slot car racing set 6101. It comes complete with all track pieces, instructions, box and the two very rare slot cars. Tyco made these Hustler battery operated sets for a very limited time from 1978-81.

These Hustler sets are very hard to find in any conditon. The McLaren and Chaparral are both rated rare cars and are almost impossible to find. The box has heavy wear as pictured. It appears that this set is complete with all instructions, paperwork and all of the track pieces. The plastic flag poles and the paper/cardboard flags are still attached, uncut, never used.

All contents actually appear unusued, with the only wear being from general age and storage. The battery compartment is complete with the cover and is just beautiful clean. Both cars are present and are in the original cardboard storage box. I have inspected this set thoroughly for any known flaws. The only issue I have found is on the McLaren slot car.
