Nascar Daytona Speedway Kellogg's Ho Electric Racing Track Set Life-like No9511

I'm honestly not sure if the item is new, open box or used. Several of the parts scream new, like all of the small accessories are still sealed in its factory bags or untouched. I did see some of the track parts close to the open side of the box have some wear but i wonder if its because they slided out at some point. Under the cars I can see what looks like some wear marks from use and the controllers/power adapter cords are not factory wrapped, so probably used.

Outside of the box does not smell in any way but inside of the box smells musty when you put your nose right to it. Also noticed a puncture on the front of the box by the lower right corner and some tape which was keeping the box shut.
