James Bond 007 Road Race Slot Car Track Set 1965 Original Sears Set

It has not been tested, and no effort has been made to restore any part (in order to avoid damage, and ensure period authenticity). It includes the original box (which is mostly complete though crumbling in some places - some sections set in place for photo purposes), original papers tattered with age, with holes, etc. , all six original base pieces, and the vast majority of original accessories (as pictured). It also includes both original cars (the blue Aston Martin one has a broken front grille), which along with the rest of the kit needs to be restored at least a bit in order to be functional again as new.

Note that the black mark on the track IS an original part of the toy, and is meant to depict an oil slick. This can be verified by looking at other sets. The assembled course is about 34" x 51" in (87 x 130 cm), and has a very colorful and scenic layout including lakes and rock formations, which are enhanced by the addition of two plastic mountains (the highest mountain is about 10 in [26 cm] high), elevated ramps, underpasses, tunnels, banks, tilted curves, and oil slicks. It also includes many accessory pieces. All 6 squares, 2 mountains, curved ramp, jump ramp, 2 cars, power pack , 2 hand held remotes, 12 trees (1 has broken peg), 5 U connecting clips, 2 rock locks, large road race start sign, 6 road signs, 4 large black rails, 1 small black rail, car lift, fuel tank, oil barrel, instruction manual, wiring and more.

There is some damage to a few pieces. The bridge connector piece has a leg peg broken, one tree has a broken peg and the blue car has a broken front grille. The lap stickers have come off and need re-glueing to the track. This set is in nice vintage condition as the colors are still bright. Slot rails appear to be a little rusty and one piece is no longer down in the groove.

The box is a little brittle and rough. It has some areas that have torn. Please ask any questions and if you need more pictures just let me know.
