This is a Used set of 4 slot cars. All 4 cars run well. There are some small, cosmetic scratches. The white background picture of the whole track set is not exactly what is included.
There are 4 cars, each with its own controller One controller runs each car. All four can operate together without conflict. However, two of the controllers are different than in the large white picture. See the detail pictures for pictures of the four that are included.
There are 29 pieces of track. That is more than what is shown. The original, unopened instruction bag is included (not the original box).
The cars can run in automatic or manual modes. You do the shifting in manual. Each car takes 2 AAA batteries and each controller take 2 AAA batteries. The batteries are NOT INCLUDED.
There is a picture of the orange car in an adult's hand for scaling purposes The hand is not included.... These are great for a wide range of ages. Young kids can learn to race using the automatic mode. Manual is more challenging for older racers.
