I received this car from Germany as a 30626 F. Not sure why, but the chassis and body were beat to hell. Everything was superglued on the body and the attaching point on the body for the rear spoiler was broken. I stored all the good internal components looking for a new #5 chassis and body. Recently I came upon a brand new 30627 #6 Massa bare body in the UK and latched on to it.
Everything was swapped into the new chassis. I added new front Carrera tires and a set of new trued Ortmann polyurethane rear tires. Also new is the guide keel and contact braids. This car has been completely restored to its factory new condition, including new 26740 Carrera D132 F1 chip, giving back to this car the opportunity for high speed racing action on either a Carrera digital track or, with its automatic digital to analog and back capability, a contender on any analog circuit. The cars I sell are top performers out of the box, given that the upgrades have already been done.
For the price, based on what's out there, this car is your best bet for dollar to performance on the track directly out of the box. They have the original display cases and overlays.
These cars are meant to race. If you are local to the St.
