This is a massive, single-owner slot car collection originally received as a Christmas gift from Sears Canada in 1977/78. This was the flagship "Empire" layout, designed for huge multi-level racing without the need for loops. It has been in my possession for nearly 50 years and is ready for a new hobbyist to restore it to its former glory.
The Car: Includes the original Silver Chrome Porsche 908 (Red #3). It is tested and working, though it will require new tires (standard for a car of this age). Please note: The #4 car is missing.
The Track Huge 60+ Piece Count! 32 Straights, 12 Medium Curves, 14 Long Curves, 6 Small Curves. 3 Short Straights, 2 Cross-lane (Intersection) tracks, and 1 Power track.Accessories: 41 Track supports/piers, 42 Glow-in-the-dark guard rails, 2 yellow separator clips for double-curve support, and several flag poles. Power & Control: Includes the original power transformer, 2 plug ends, and 6 total controllers. I have wired one set together for testing and confirmed it works! Original Owner: Set is very clean and has been stored with care.
Track Clips: Excellent condition-very few broken tabs, which is rare for vintage Tyco track. Supports: The piers show some glue residue from a permanent tabletop setup I had as a child a true testament to how much this set was enjoyed! Heavy Duty Packaging: I will ensure the chrome car and transformer are bubble-wrapped securely within the track bundle.
